Pengjun Zhao


Pengjun Zhao, Ph.D. in Planning, School of Space, University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He is currently a professor and doctoral tutor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, School of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University. Editor-in-Chief, director of the Urban and Rural Planning and Transportation Research Center of the School of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University. Mainly engaged in space planning, transportation planning and management, transportation geography and other aspects of research. He has published more than 120 academic papers and works and published 3 monographs in English and Chinese. In 2014-518, he won the list of high-cited scholars in Elsevier China for five consecutive years. He has hosted and participated in more than 10 projects such as GLOBAL SECURE, the New Zealand National Science and Technology Innovation Project (WILUTE), and the EU's Seventh Framework Project PUMAH. He has chaired the National Science and Technology Support Program, National Ministries and Natural Science Foundation and other scientific research projects. 12 items, and obtained 3 national invention patents.
