Suhong Zhou , is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Geographical Science and Planning at Sun Yat-Sen University. Winner of the National Natural Science Foundation Excellent Youth Fund. He is currently a member of the China Urban Planning Association, the deputy director of the China Urban Science Research Association's Big Data Professional Committee, the director of the Guangdong Provincial Public Safety and Disaster Engineering Technology Research Center, the executive director of the Guangdong Geographical Society, and the Guangdong Provincial Major Administrative Decision-making Advisory Committee. The editorial board of "Tropical Geography" and the editorial board of the People's University of China, "Geography" editorial committee and other academic part-time jobs. In recent years, Professor Zhou has been mainly engaged in teaching and research in the fields of urban geography, social transportation geography, space-time behavior, urban crime, urban health, and geographic information science.
